How to share an invoice PDF on WhatsApp

NoPaperInvoice generates a PDF file of your invoice, proforma or payment receipt. You choose the app and customer who receive it.

On a phone with file sharing support

1. Complete the document and check its preview.
2. Tap Share PDF / WhatsApp.
3. If your browser supports sharing PDF files, your device opens its share menu.
4. Choose WhatsApp, select the customer and confirm the attachment before sending.

If the share menu is unavailable

1. Choose Download PDF and save the file.
2. Open the customer’s WhatsApp chat.
3. Use the attachment option and choose Document.
4. Find the saved PDF, check the filename and send it.

On a laptop

Download the PDF, open WhatsApp Web or the desktop app and attach the file as a document in the customer’s chat. Your browser’s available sharing options depend on the device and browser.

Does the app send a WhatsApp message automatically?

No. You choose the recipient and send the file yourself. NoPaperInvoice does not automatically message customers. If only text appears in a share option, use the downloaded PDF attachment method.

“Hello, please find the invoice for your order attached. Kindly review the details and let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.”
